iOS Developer
What will you be doing?
We have several product lines of mobile communications systems for Android, iOS and Windows. We are looking to expand our team to develop features in our iOS client to enhance functionality which forms a critical part of our secure comms systems.
As an established iOS engineer you will be an integral part of our client app team, involved in every aspect of the development lifecycle helping to define requirements, plan and participate in the development of our customer-facing, native iOS app.
We are looking for enthusiastic newcomers to join our highly focused team working on all aspects of our products. You will take a key role in the continuing the development and worldwide roll-out of our product ranges, bringing your existing experience to enhance our teams skillset.
Essential skills/experience
- Must be capable of obtaining UK security clearance and a UK resident for the past 5 years
- You have an in-depth knowledge of iOS technologies
- You have strong knowledge of mobile architectural and design patterns
- Comprehensive knowledge of Swift and Objective-C.
- Knowledge of secure coding practices (e.g. commit-signing)
- Able to work autonomously, follow process and clearly document tasks.
- Proactive and results-orientated, owning tasks and meeting exacting deadlines.
Nice to have skills/experience
- Keen to automate repetitive tasks and are familiar with Continuous Integration tools
- Experience with GIT, JIRA and Agile/Scrum-like development.
- Experience of using PJSIP, XMPP, Audio and Video codecs technologies.
- Understanding of general security, authentication and cryptographic principles.
